Often at the core of depression, anxiety, loss, and substance abuse and/or addictions are personal changes. These change points are often tied to emotions that individuals find difficult to manage. Getting support during these change points can make the difference between just "getting through" something difficult and growing stronger through something difficult.
I primarily use Emotion Focused Therapy for individuals. This is a highly researched and clinically proven therapy for personal change.
